"UPPING THE ANTE" Trailer 1 09.09.10

The plan was for Digital Lizard Productions to release “Upping The Ante” in 2009. The scheduling became a huge issue as one of the leads, Joe Willison was approaching his wedding date. We shot segments of this movie in spring of 2009, summer of 2009, and winter of 2009. What we hoped would have been the last day of shooting was screwed up due to some scheduling confusing and conflicts. Basically, a supporting cast member forgot. Joe got married and then we waited… and we waited…. AND we waited. Who knows what happened there, but we finally came to the conclusion that we needed to do SOMETHING. So with about 75-80% of the movie finished, I had to take that footage, the original script, and my brain into isolation for a few days. I came up with a more than reasonable and easily workable NEW ENDING to the movie. With this, we’ll be able to use pretty much all the footage we’ve shot so far AND get a proper conclusion to the story and a lot of laughs.

This trailer was made with intentions of using the original script so some stuff might and will most likely change, but it’s a good taste of what’s to come with this one. This movie would be done right now but Keith found himself in jail for a short while. So again, we’re on hiatus with this movie but with some quick shooting, creative redubbing, and with good behavior UPPING THE ANTE will most likely be released before 2010 is over. With this movie, I can’t and at this point won’t make ANY promises.
