Around spring of 2006, I was just getting into video editing. I had edited some MEW wrestling matches, but that was merely the tip of the iceberg. I wanted to edit more so as I was cutting my teeth I edited together some abstract-looking stuff. This was the result of that abstract experimentation. I’d take songs I liked and made some sort of graphical representation to mess around with for some videos. A lot of them are basically abstract shapes and colors making cool effect looking stuff. It was pretty much a cooler version of the Windows Media Player abstract videos. Cooler because *I* was creating them. For the “Shades of Fiction Series”, I took it one step farther and I’ve always liked how they turned out. Then again, they’d probably be REALLY lame if the song wasn’t just so damn good.
