Britney gets a bad rap. People say she’s washed up or not as good as she used to be. They say she’s not as attractive and is a complete train wreck. But so what? When you put aside ALL of her personal life stuff she’s still a better singer than you, a better dancer, and odds are very good that she’s more attractive than you. She gains a little weight and she’s “fat”. She has one bad performance and she’s “done”. But still, these same haters continue to cover her and talk about her as much as they can. She’s had some messed up personal drama, but nothing TOO “out there”. The craziest thing she did was shave her head. Yeah, she lost a good portion of her appeal at that point, but wigs and extensions bring her right back from that major breakdown.
For years she was built up as something wholesome and sexual at the same time. That’s a very hard combo to balance and once she got into her “K-Fed stage” that combo exploded into madness. She never got a chance to really grow up and develop as a person. She never got a chance to have an outburst or rebellion because she’s been in the public eye since she was a kid. It’s not an excuse to take any blame from her, but it does put the blame on everyone else as well. Britney Spears was a product of the world around her. But she still overcomes.
She’s officially “back”. She was listed as the sixth on Forbes magazine’s Celebrity 100 list and the third most powerful female musician of the year. This is what happens when you bring in $64 million dollars, design shoes, become the most followed person on Twitter, and start getting your ducks in a row. She’s currently working on a new studio album. Don’t forget the fact she’s only 28. Many would hope and agree that her worst days may be past her already. There’s only one way to go…
