Ali Larter is awesome. She’s been acting since the late 90’s and has pretty much been picking pretty cool and fun roles since getting into acting. She’s from Jersey, but got to see a lot of the world fairly young as she got into modeling at 14. She ended up skipping her senior year and went to Japan and Australia to model. She’d eventually find herself in LA. After some acting school she got roles in a few TV shows including “Suddenly Susan”, “Dawson’s Creek”, “Just Shoot Me!” and some others.
It would be 1999 when her film career would really take off. She had a fairly big and definitely memorable role in “Varsity Blues”. That kind gave her the extra push she needed as she’d then go on to star in “House on Haunted Hill”, the first two installments of the “Final Destination” franchise, “Legally Blonde” with Reece Witherspoon, and even “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back”. Those might not be Oscar type of movies, but they’re movies that people love and watch over and over again.
In 2005, she was cast on “Heroes”. She ended up playing three different characters on the show and did a great job at it. Towards the end it felt like she wasn’t used as much as she should of, but her presence was felt enough here and there. She has some other roles coming up, but the one that stands out is her bringing back the “Claire” character for the forth coming fourth part of the Resident Evil franchise. With “Heroes” being cancelled, I’m kind of curious where her career will go. I have a feeling she has a lot more up her sleeve than she’s let on so far.
