Juliette Lewis is bad ass. There’s no other way to put it. She’s a bad ass actress, a bad ass singer, and a bad ass in general. She did some TV including a role as Wayne’s girlfriend in “Wonder Years”. She got in to some movies, notably as Audrey in “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”. She would then gain a lot of attention for playing Daneille Bowden in Scorsese’s “Cape Fear”. From there she had a spree of some of the most bad ass movies of all time. I’m talking about “Kalifornia”, “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape”, and “Strange Days” and of course “Natural Born Killers”. From there she formed a band called “Juliette and The Licks”. In a lot of her roles she took the chance to sing and it was very apparent of her love of music. She takes music seriously and records and tours like any musician. She still makes movies. She’s had roles in “Old School”, “The Darwin Awards”, “Whip It”, and so many others. She is a busy woman, but she’s still out there tearing up the pavement as a rockstar. I know for a fact that she plays a lot of hole in the wall type of places. Someone who’s been nominated for an Oscar, dated Brad Pitt, and worked with Scorsese doesn’t HAVE to do this. She does it because she loves the expression of music and well… she’s a bad ass.
