(FOUR) FAMILY MATTERS
There’s plenty more than what I came up with here. Maybe I’ll do a part two someday to fill in some of the more obvious gaps. Never the less, here is my Top 4… for today. I’m sure it’d change with more thought. I almost went with the episode where The Rock and Ken Shamrock were on “That 70’s Show”, but I have to go with this “Family Matters” episode. In Season 5, the show had long jumped the shark. This episode saw Urkel come up with a new invention… a “snooze juice”. Two masked wrestlers accidentally drink it so Urkel and Carl have to step in and wrestle their match that night. And their opponents were The Bushwackers! Hilarity ensues…

(THREE) IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA
I’m bias here because this is one of my favorite shows. In Season 5, the gang got into wrestling. Frank was going crazy in a very George The Animal Steele like manner as the guys got advice from a broken down independent wrestling played by Roddy Piper. The gang ends up coming out in bird outfits and trying to sing. The crowd did nothing and the guys end up getting beaten up by a long time enemy in really bittersweet hilarity. You can tell they’re fans of wrestling so it makes it even more enjoyable.

(TWO) SOUTH PARK
Thirteen seasons in and we finally get a South Park episode about wrestling. And the cool part is that it was a backyard wrestling company. Something I can sadly relate to in almost every way. The take they had on wrestling was perfect. It focused way more on the politics and dramatic acting side of it than the actual chain wrestling. It was so over the top. All I remember is stuff about abortions and Vince McMahon showing up to scout new talent. Easily in my top 5 of South Park episodes, which says a lot.

(ONE) BOY MEETS WORLD
I remember Mankind showing up towards the end of the shows run, but it was the middle seasons of Boy Meets World when the show got a heavy dose of wrestling. The show’s big loveable bully henchman(Frankie) introduced his father. His father was Vader! Vader appeared in a few funny scenes with Feenie and some other small random stuff. At one point Vader even wrestled against Jake The Snake in a match on the show. I wanna say he appeared on 4 or 5 episodes total. The episode that I’m going with is the one where they set up an underground match in the gym with celebrity ring announcers and appearances. Good stuff.
