"4 Facts: Paul Rudd"

(FOUR) “MINOR TEEN IDOL”
In researching Paul Rudd, his wiki page says that after the breakout performance in 1995’s “Clueless” that Rudd became more popular turning him into a “minor teen idol”. I don’t know about you, but I thought all teens were minors.

(THREE) MAC AND ME AND PAUL
He’s tight with Conan O’Brien. This has led to some hilarious appearances on his show and he even showed up for the recent Conan live tour. The ongoing gag was that whenever he was on Conan he’d show a clip from the old crappy movie “Mac and Me” instead of his own project. So THAT is why “The Oh in Ohio” never got its love. Way to go, Paul… way to go.

(TWO) CHIEFS FAN
Paul Rudd is a huge fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. I guess this is what happens when you grow up in Kansas. He’s not just a casual fan though. He goes that extra distance for his team. In 2007 when HBO followed the Chiefs for their “Hard Knocks” special he did the narration. This kind of makes the dude even more likeable. He’s supportive of shitty teams. That gives him a tad more humanity than the awesomeness that is Paul Orlando Reginald Rudd.

(ONE) CONNECTIONS
Well, yeah… Paul Rudd has “connections”. I’m talking about the ones he has that aren’t directly related to him being famous already. He and Jason Sudeikis went to the same high school. He and Jon Hamm are old friends. He was classmates with Matthew Lillard in acting school. I’m pretty sure Paul Rudd knows the Dali Lama. They probably went to camp together.
