Jason Statham played sports in school. He played football(“soccer” to Americans), but his passion was diving. He practiced daily and was really into it. When he was old enough, he got on board as a member of Britain’s National Diving Squad for twelve years. He even finished 12th in the 1992 World Championships.
(THREE) GUY’S GUY
As he was working as a fashion model, he met a young filmmaker named Guy Ritchie. When they met Guy was casting for a movie he was planning to shoot. This all resulted in Jason being cast as “Bacon” in the huge cult classic “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels”. It’s safe to say both Ritchie and Statham’s career took off from there.
(TWO) UFC FAN
I’m not going to hold this against him. He’s an action star so watching MMA has to be like watching porn to him. He’s a big fan of MMA and has gone to many pay per views and big fights.
(ONE) QUIET SUCCESS
Jason Statham rocks. Plain and simple. I’m not an action movie fan per say, but you can’t help but enjoy his work. I’m a big fan of the Crank series and hope for at least one more. Statham isn’t quite a house hold name just yet, but I think he’s doing just fine. He’s been in over twenty movies. The films he has been a part of have made well over ONE BILLION DOLLARS at the box office. That’s JUST the box office, folks.
