(FOUR) JIZZ IN MY PANTS
It was this or “Like A Boss”. I enjoyed both songs about equally, but the video for this was greatness. It’s a really catchy song about premature ejaculation. It’s a great time for the whole family. The song covers what all the Lonely Island get a little too worked up over. This had to be one of the most popular videos of theirs so far. It’s not the biggest hit, but it’s definitely got it’s share of attention and praise.
(THREE) I’M ON BOAT
This might actually be my favorite of their songs. It’s probably the song I’ve quote the most, if anything just for the chorus of “I’m on a boat” and “Like Kevin Garnett- Anything is Possible!” It’s a full on gangsta track with the best work T-Pain has ever done. I’m pretty sure if I had a boat or were to be on one that this song would be a MUST.
(TWO) DICK IN A BOX
This video put Lonely Island out there in a big way. The viral craze for this song and video was huge for a good while. It has to be up there in the “Top SNL Moments of All Time” for sure. Andy Samberg and Justin Timberlake’s SNL career highlight reel will feature this stuff no matter what. The whole thing was hilarious. Mocking old school R&B is always fun, but to do with with gift wrap and indecent exposure is the bee’s knees.
(ONE) LAZY SUNDAY
It’s insane to think that “Lazy Sunday” debuted on SNL on December 17th, 2005. We’ve been getting Digital Shorts even before then, but this was IT. I remember watching it and being blown away. It hit the internet pretty hard and got around. I remember HAVING TO download a shitty Windows Media video of it because I loved it so much and had to show everyone I knew. Without the success of this video we don’t know for sure that we’d have any more so I’ll always be grateful for this one. And besides, it’s bad ass!
