(FOUR) THE DANCE OFF
There was one where Casey Kasem shows up and he hosts a dance contest at The Max. Everyone ends up in their own teams and chaos ensues. Jesse and Slater do some weird ballet stuff, Zach and Kelly do something, and Lisa and Screech steal the show. You see Lisa got into an accident and had to have her foot in a brace. Screech sticks with her and they do “The Hop”. You gotta love those “Screech Wins” moments.

(THREE) DRUGS
There is no way one can make a list about Saved By The Bell episodes and NOT mention this one. It’s the one where the girls are doing some sort of pop star dance group thing. Think Destiny’s Child but with better people. The pressure of it all gets to be too much for Jesse and she starts popping speed nonstop. It ends with her accepting her problem and all that stuff, but there’s a line in this one that should be in the annals of time. “I’m so excited… I’m so excited… I’m so… so… scaaared!” AMAZING.

(TWO) HOMECOMING
I think the first “love story” I ever cared about as a kid was Kelly and Zack. Slater would try to sneak in there some times, but Zack would always get the upper hand. Kelly and Zack were just meant to be. There was that one really emotional homecoming episode that still gets me. Zack and Kelly have their own prom outside the gym. She breaks up with him for that old asshole Jeff, but Zack is all class and still shares one last dance with her. That’s love.

(ONE) ZACK ATTACK
Another episode with Casey Kasem! I see a trend here. This time it was a “Behind the Music” type of show where we see some weird fantasy setting of the “Zack Attack”, a fictional band made up of the friends. They were HUGE. They had that hit song “Friends Forever”, which I almost know the words to and their break up and fall out was awesome. Zack became a Vanilla Ice looking dude, one an actress, one a guru, one a racer, and I forget what else. Then we fast forward and they all end up reuniting at the end. I remember loving this episode so much that I tried to record the song from the TV speaker into a recordable cassette tape. It was THAT awesome.
