"4 Reasons I Love Wrestling V.3 "

(FOUR) COSTUMES
Everyone likes superheroes and rock stars. If you don’t then you’re un-American. You take the tights, capes, masks, and boots from the comic books and cross it with the hair, spandex, leather, and badassness of rock stars and you get a good idea of what the costumes look like. I’m not saying I like looking at dudes in tights. There’s nothing wrong with that kind of thing, but it’s not my cup of tea. It’s just the ring attire, when it’s good, is larger than life and it feels like Halloween all year long.

(THREE) HISTORY
Folks on ESPN and in most bars think it’s impressive they know the batting average of some DH from four years ago. Hell, some even spout out knowledge from many years ago. It’s baseball, basketball, football, hockey, etc. You know what’s even more impressive than that? Knowing the name of all four members of the old biker gang staple “D.O.A.” is impressive. Knowing how many Intercontential Title reigns Razor Ramon had is impressive. There are many shows over many years with many memories, facts, stories, results, and moments. You don’t get much better than the history of wrestling.

(TWO) ON GOING DISCUSSION
TV series and all other sports have “seasons”. With WWE, it’s all year long. You can talk about something new every week. We get RAW on Monday, Smackdown on Friday, then NXT, Superstars, Tough Enough, web stuff, and PPV’s. There is a constant flow of content to enjoy. You don’t get that anywhere else.

(ONE) HYPOTHETICALS
The hypothetical discussions of wrestling has provided hour upon hour of in depth enjoyment. You get to ramble about “dream matches”, “what ifs”, and just come up with your own fantasy scenarios. Any long time fan of wrestling will be able to tell you their dream matches or what they’d want to do if they could write the storylines. Professional wrestling, when done right, lets you suspend belief for awhile. These kind of talks just prolong the fun and sometimes takes it to a huge level.
