(FOUR) TELEVISION
From 99 to 2003, Adam Carolla co-hosted “The Man Show” with Jimmy Kimmel. Kimmel ended up taking on the late night talk show. He would also partner up with a friend to start a production company, Jackhole Productions. They put out the show Crank Yankers, which was a pretty big show. It was basically The Jerky Boys meets Sesame Street. It was funny for awhile, but the fun passed pretty quickly. He tried to have his one talk show on Comedy Central in 05, but it didn’t last very long. He would try a few different gigs. He tried a home remodeling show, gameshows, Dancing with the Stars, and others. He shows up on Kimmel a lot and is around for the most part. He’s a weird guy, but he’s typically always entertaining.

(THREE) FILM
Adam has had some film experience. He starred in a somewhat autobiographical indie movie called “The Hammer”. He co-wrote and co-produced this gem. If you haven’t seen it, I recommend it. To simplify it or not, it’s about a slacker guy who boxes. I would say it’s a cross between Rocky and Swingers. Good stuff. He has made a few other appearances here and there, but “The Hammer” is the first of HOPEFULLY more Carolla starring movies to come. Seriously! He’s likeable, funny, charismatic, and surprisingly has some chops.

(TWO) MOE
For many years I’ve had discussions about the casting that would be if The Simpsons were to make a live action version of the show. The one casting I’ve always thought was PERFECT was Adam Carolla as Moe, the bartender. I’m confident he could get a similar voice. I think it’s the curly hair, oddly shaped face, and the fact… well, he looks JUST like Moe.

(ONE) VOICE STAR
Adam Carolla has a face and overbearing personality PERFECT for radio. Adam Carolla co-hosted the relationship and sex-ed advice show for ten years. From 1995 to 2005 he was the host. From 2005 to 2009 he hosted “The Adam Carolla Show” on a lot of radio markets. This was when Howard Stern was leaving regular radio so he swooped in and took on a lot of big markets and stations. In early 2009 this show was cancelled due to a “format change”. A few days later he started doing a podcast. It blew up huge and was really successful. It’s made him some good money and he has one of, if not the most successful podcasts EVER. Impressive.
