(FOUR) DINOSAUR LOVE
DENVER THE LAST FN’ DINOSAUR! Remember that shit? Remember Barney the Dinosaur? Remember the weird and hell sitcom “Dinosaurs” on ABC? And then of course there was the Jurassic Park franchise. I watched some of the sitcom, I was too old for Barney, and I never connected with the Jurassic Park movies. I loved me some Denver The Last Dinosaur though. The point is that I kind of miss the dinosaur craze. I’d rather the little ones be excited about a bad ass T-Rex than some glittery vampire or nerdy wizard boy with bad glasses.
(THREE) ARM WRESTLING
Two specific things come to mind here. That Sly Stalone arm wrestling movie called “Over The Top” and the arm wrestling montage from the first “Revenge of the Nerds” movie. When did the fine art that is arm wrestling fade into oblivion? Weak armed, jerks!
(TWO) MORTAL KOMBAT
I loved that old techno song where in the middle someone would scream “MORTAL KOMBAAAAAT!” all the time. Those little G.I. Joe sized action figures were pretty cool too. Oh and the game was awesome. Street Fighter is what got me into fighting games and I’ll always prefer it, but Mortal Kombat was insane. This was really the first "oh my lord! It's sooo violent! Will somebody PLEASE think of the children" games I can remember. FATALITY!
(ONE) TINY TOONS ADVENTURES
I’ll even go THIS far, Tiny Toons was better than Looney Toons. Of course I love Looney Toons and realize this show was basically an animated spin-off. I used to watch this amazing show when I got home from school. I used to love this show. I used to know the words to this theme song. It’s crazy to think this show only lasted three seasons. If you get your hands on the DVD or magically find it on TV take advantage of the situation.
