(FOUR) THE BIG YEAR
I didn’t know much about this movie, but the cast is enough to make me watch just about anything. The movie revolves around a group of men who are obsessed with bird watching. The group of men go on a watching spree in pursuit of upstaging the others. Fun enough. The cast is Owen Wilson, Steve Martin, Jack Black, Jim Parsons, Joel McHale, Anthony Anderson, and like a dozen more awesome people.
(THREE) WANDERLUST
I didn’t know about this movie until last week. I’m a big fan of David Wainn, Ken Marino, and those peeps. This is a movie about a couple who moves to Georgia after losing work. On the way they encounter a hippie commune. I’m excited about this one. The cast is what’s so awesome. It’s Paul Rudd, Justin Theroux, Lauren Ambrose, Jennifer Aniston, Malin Akerman, Joe Lo Trugilo, and even ALAN ALDA. Alan Alda and hippies…. Sold.
(TWO) RED STATE
A Kevin Smith movie? I’m in. I’ve always been a huge fan of this man’s work. He’s an influence and one of the most entertaining opinionists I’ve had the pleasure of listening to. His style IS my cup of tea. This is him doing a horror movie with John Goodman and some other folks. I’m going to watch this movie. Most likely before you read this. Do the same thing.
(ONE) THE MUPPETS
Any movie with Jason Segel is worth watching if you ask me. The dude is funny, likeable, and doesn’t seem to get involved in projects that don’t rock. He has a huge passion for The Muppets. He and Nicholas Stoller wrote the movie and then he stars in it with Amy Adams, Chris Cooper, and Rashida Jones. I love the Muppets. It’s been too long. I’ve never watched them as an adult and I will as soon as this comes out.
