"4 Facts: Simon Cowell"

(FOUR) NOVELTY ACT
Early in his career he was assigned the job of working on a lot of novelty albums. These brought in good money, but didn’t have the big impact of a bigger pop album. He put out some doseys too like stuff with WWF, Teletubbies, Power Rangers, and others. In fact the success of these oddball projects is what put him on the map as a mover and shaker.

(THREE) MONEY MACHINE
In 2006 he signed a deal with FOX to stay on as a judge for 6 more years of American Idol for the low price of $33 MILLION A SEASON. So basically, even if he was going to leave or not he took the five years, raked in 150 mil, and THEN goes off to do his new thing.

(TWO) SHOW WHORE
Outside of Gordon Ramsey, I can’t think of anyone else with their thumb in so many pies. He has the UK and US Idol shows, the UK and US “Got Talent” shows, the UK and US X-Factors, and like a dozen more. He isn’t shy about it. The dude takes the same idea of “televised talent show” and keeps revamping it and making money off the same stupid people. I don’t blame him.

(ONE) IMAGE
He is known as the mean and honest English judge guy. His personality and reputation is pretty known. Like it or not, he’s an iconic pop culture figure. He is seen in his black fitted shirts, pressed jeans, bad haircut, and smug expression. Proving he is in the pop music business he too has used botox to keep up with his looks. Lame example.
