(FOUR) COME, YE SAINTS
This was a road trip from hell. The family goes on a trip to the Joseph Smith shrine in New York. It was fun to see a hoard of cars travel from Utah to the east coast. TONS of shit went down. Margie had to deal with her mom’s death and ashes. Nikki was hiding her shit from Bill still. Ben wrote a love letter to Marg. Sarah deals with losing her baby and her mom flipping out over finding birth control… that wasn’t even hers! Soooo much here. It ends with the family FINALLY getting there and Bill not giving up his goal of burying a time capsule of his family’s stuff. The end with him praying with the creep Monster-truck rally looking angel show in the background was one of the first scenes that came to mind when writing this.

(THREE) PILOT
We meet Bill. He owns a hardware store. He works hard and wants to expand. He has a messy back story. He goes home. He loves his family. His family consists of THREE wives and a million kids. See what I did there? I didn’t include the “crazy” part until the end. That’s how this episode unraveled. Interesting start up.

(TWO) BLOCK PARTY
This was a fun episode. The third season starts with Bill trying to get the Indian casino stuff going. Ana was coming into the picture and throwing the family for a loop. Meanwhile, there is a block party where everyone is giving the Hendricksons shit for their lifestyle. Nikki takes the blunt of the hate, but the end is silly but still really endearing. This was a good episode in the terms of it being mainly positive in the idea of the family being closer together.

(ONE) KINGDOM COME
Bill had three wives so that means he has to deal with A LOT at home on top of the work he has to do to provide for everyone. He gets exhausted and wants a “day to himself” where he doesn’t have to sleep with a wife. He gets on Viagra and the women are pissed. The end sees the Greenes showing up at small coffee shop and busting caps in Roman Grant. It was bad ass and shocked the hell out of me. There was more dramatic and plot inducing episodes, but I enjoyed this one the most and couldn’t wait for the next one once the credits hit.
