(FOUR) BOOB TUBE
Simon Pegg has been on A LOT of TV programs. His start was in 1995 doing parts on “Six Pairs of Pants”. He would bounce around a little, including a gig on the classic “I’m Alan Partridge”. In 1999 he got his own show on the air called “Spaced”. It lasted two series, but really put him on the map. After that, he consistently worked and popped up on random episodes of random shows. This would be his main gig until around 04/05 when “Shaun of the Dead” would be out.

(THREE) THE THREE FLAVOURS CORNETTO TRILOGY
The collaborations of Pegg, Nick Frost, and co-writer and director Edgar Wright are so awesome it has a nickname. The Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy is three movies that are co-written by Pegg and Wright and stars Pegg and Frost. All three of different genre movies. The first was “Shaun of the Dead” in 2004, a romantic comedy with zombies. Then a buddy cop action caper called “Hot Fuzz”. The third movie hasn’t had too much info released yet, but it’s currently titled “The World’s End” which makes me assume it’s an action comedy. The only thing I’m sure of is that it’ll be hilarious.

(TWO) COLDPLAYER
I’m not going to lie. This sort of effects me admiration for the guy. Apparently he’s SUCH good friends with Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow that he’s a godfather to their daughter Apple. It’s a returned favor as Chris Martin is the godfather of Pegg’s daughter Matilda. Is it too much to hope that Pegg just enjoys Chris Martin’s presence and NOT his music? I think I’d accept that. Please.

(ONE) NEEEEEEERRRRDDDS!
Simon Pegg is a fan of movies before he’s a movie star. He has had a great appreciation for pop culture and some really nerdy things. He’s living the nerd dream. He’s gotten to make a zombie movie, be in a Star Trek movie, work with Tarintino, voice a cartoon, and be the leading man in his own flims. The biggest proof of this is the movie “Paul”. He plays a nerd with his buddy Nick Frost who travel to comic con and encounter tons of craziness, including hanging out with an alien voiced by Seth Rogen. Super nerd!
