(FOUR) JEFF, WHO LIVES AT HOME
The Duplass’s bring us what’s being tagged as a “an indie comedy film” on Wikipedia. Whatever, man. It’s a little “non-mainstream”, but it’s got big stars and is going to get more attention than a REAL “indie”. I’ll forever hate on that aspect of Hollywood. Anywho… I DO want to see this. I like Jason Segel and Ed Helms a lot. Both are very entertaining people and I can’t wait to see them work off each other. They’re brothers. One is an uptight white collar guy and the other is a slacker who still lives at home. They go on an adventure together to see if someone is cheating or something. I’m sure it’ll be funny. We also get Judy Greer, Susan Sarandon, and a few other familiar faces. It’ll be funnier than “I Love You Man” for sure. I’d almost want to bet on it.

(THREE) TIM & ERIC’S BILLION DOLLAR MOVIE
I’ve not watched Adult Swim since before the Aqua Teen movie. I just lost touch with it. I got more productive than staring at bad random comedy all night. Still, I’ve always had a spot in my heart for the random bullshit that is Tim and Eric. “Tom Goes To The Mayor” was a huge guilty pleasure of mine. I’ll eventually watch this movie just out of respect of that show. The movie is going to be weird as shit, but the supporting cast is stronger than any other movie ever made. It’s crazy to think they got Will Ferrell, Zach Galifianakis, Jeff Goldblum, John C. Reilly, Will Forte, and others! I think we have to watch just based on that.

(TWO) 21 JUMP STREET
I remember when I first heard about this movie. A lot of people were up in arms over Jonah Hill being involved with it. I really didn’t care. This show aired riiiight before television shows took consciousness in my small child brain. I knew it from syndication, but it wasn’t for me. I enjoy Jonah Hill’s past work enough to give pretty much anything he’s in a chance. Then people shat hard on the idea of Channing Tatum being involved, but he seems a lot cooler than the “pretty boy action movie and car movie” type of dude. He was good in “Date Night” so I’m a little more open-minded. So many of these TV reimaginings and old school remakes are just complete shit. This looks different and fun. Rob Riggle showing up to work on any project is cool in my book. I’m also a big fan of Ellie Kemper from her work on “The Office”. It looks edgy, funny, and enjoyable enough. In the least, I mildy anticipate this movie. It’s not going to make or break my winter, but I’d imagine it’d be a decent movie. The only thing I worry about is the actual “student” characters being too annoying. I’m going to watch this for sure though…

(ONE) WANDERLUST
I’m pretty sure this movie will be great. I’m pretty fond of David Wain’s directing and writing. Ken Marino is hilarious and a fun writer too. Apatow is producing and the cast is loaded. First of all, it stars Paul friggen’ Rudd. Paul Rudd is very entertaining and makes even the worst of movies, and he’s been in some bad ones, pretty watchable. I think it’s just because he’s a likeable guy. Girls want him and guys wanna hang out with him. That’s hard to come by. Enough swooning over Paul Rudd though. His co star is Jennifer Aniston. She can do well in comedies and has been consistent lately, but there’s still something about her that keeps me from being confident in her work. Still, I’m sure these two will have good chemistry. The supporting cast is Justin Theroux and Lauren Ambrose from Six Feet Under, the best TV show EVER. It’s more than them, we get Malin Akerman, Joe Lo Truglio, Alan Friggen Alda, Kathryn Hahn, Ken Marino himself, Michela Watkins, Reba McEntire, and sadly Ray Liotta. That’s a LOADED comedy cast if I’ve ever seen one. The story is about an uptight New York couple that falls on bad times and has to move to Georgia. Along the way they hang out with hippies. Enough said!
