(FOUR) BOOGIE NIGHTS
A lot of people would put this higher on their list. I can respect that. She rocked as “Amber Waves”. She was a porn star who’s life falls apart because of her shady past, drugs, and all of that fun stuff. She loses her kids and never really gets it together. That’s all sad, but on the bright side Julianne Moore really got famous(er)!
(THREE) THE KIDS ARE ALL RIGHT
I really dug this movie. It was a recent Oscar nomination and all of that, but Moore was sorta over looked in it. Bening and Ruffalo were outstanding too, but Moore was great. She’s just a loveable person. You want HER to be happy. At one point it’s easy to shrug off everything else going on.
(TWO) THE BIG LEBOWSKI
Maude Lebowski, a feminist avant-garde artist wants baby. She’s a weirdo, but it’s awesome. She flies around nude covering in paint. She bed’s “The Dude” and then “fetal rocks” herself into a good ol’ fashion pregnancy. As you watch she’s not all that important, but you soon realize she’s going to be a key figure in the future of “The Dude”.
(ONE) 30 ROCK
I know she has won awards and tons of praise for other roles, but I’m just way too fond of “Nancy Donovan” to not list her as number one. 30 Rock is already a great show, but her character shows up from left field and totally adds a whole new life to Alec Baldwin’s Jack. She’s from a different world than the rest of the characters. That’s my nice way of saying Boston. I hope when it all settles that Jack and Nancy end up together. *swoon*
