(FOUR) BEDTIME STORIES
This movie made a good amount of money, but I just don’t think it was because it was good. I think it was just left over charm and fandom from Adam Sandler’s other (better) movies. I know this movie wasn’t made for me, but I expected it to not suck. I enjoy Sandler for the most part and I like Pierce, Russell, and Russell a lot too. I think this movie just bums me out because I think I was expecting it to be really good or something. I don’t know what I was thinking.

(THREE) OLD DOGS
Wild Hogs almost made it, but this indirect-no so much-sequel-feeling movie was craptacular. Why do people still find Robin Williams funny? Are we supposed to give him pity laughs now and I didn’t get the memo? John Travolta is hard to take in any movie that doesn’t involve a talking baby or Uma Thurman. Wiki says it has a 35 million budget and had a box office of close to 97 million. Wild Hogs made over 250 million on a 60 million budget. You can bet those numbers were closer to the expectations.

(TWO) RACE TO WITCH MOUNTAIN
Yikes. I would have sworn this movie made more than 106 million. I did take 50 million to make so it wasn’t a financial loss or anything, but I think it’s safe to say the expectations weren’t met. It wasn’t embarrassed or anything. I’m pretty sure it was Number One for at least one week. But for them to remake one of their classics, you’d think they wouldn’t waste their time unless they planned on it being a huge success. Sadly, it wasn’t.

(ONE) THE SORCERERS APPRENTICE
It wasn’t a flop so much but you know they were expecting more. This movie was titled after a portion of “Fantasia”. It was made to be a big Disney hit. You just know they were looking to franchise the hell out of this movie and turn it to their next “Pirates”. It just didn’t work out. I’ve not seen it myself, but I think that’s a problem too. I watch a lot of movies of a lot of genres. I watch a lot of Nic Cage movies too. There is just something about the promo and vibe of this movie that doesn’t feel appealing at all.
