4 Matches I Want 4 WM29

(FOUR) CODY RHODES vs. RANDY ORTON
Imagine Orton being champion at Mania taking on the 2013 Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes in a title match. How bad ass would that be? There is an assload of backstory to make it intriguing. I can imagine plot points where Rhodes and Orton take turns murdering Ted DiBiase Jr. in a battle of one-up-manship. Cody Rhodes is going to be a big star. He’s smaller and all of that, but he’s just too good to not allow to flourish. He’s got his family name to back him and tons of potential. You can tell he’s working to improve in the ring and on the mic. This would be a just reward and a really fun feud.

(THREE) DOLPH ZIGGLER vs. CHRIS JERICHO vs. DANIEL BRYAN
Dolph Ziggler should be in a featured singles match at any WrestleMania in the foreseeable future. He’s the best performer in WWE right now. He’s on the cusp of being a Main Eventer. He can already hang with them, but he needs that three or four month feud with someone at the top of the card to really cement his status. I hope by next Mania it already happens, but I’d like to see a three way feud between Jericho and Daniel Bryan. I couldn’t decide on this match. Did I want to see a one on one between Jericho and Bryan or a Dolph and Jericho or even a Dolph and Bryan? These were the rough questions here. So to simplify it… Three Way! Three ways are iffy, but these three would steal the show. I can’t imagine this match not being at least four stars. There would just be too much awesomeness to contain.

(TWO) CM PUNK vs. STEVE AUSTIN
Everyone wants this match. It’s been rumored and dreamt about for a while now. They’ve traded quips back and forth on twitter and Austin is obviously a fan of the guy. He has even gone on record to say that he’d like to wrestling Punk if he did ever come back. It’s a perfect storyline too. Punk is the straight edge superstar and Austin is the red meat and beer drinking icon. It just makes perfect sense. A dream match and a passing of the torch of sorts would be awesome. It just sounds bad ass on paper. The promos would be great and the post would be cool. I’m just a little unsure how good the match would be. I’d still be curious to see it.

(ONE) THE MIZ vs. TRIPLE H
CM Punk is okay. He’s gotten himself a nice spot in the main event and I really can’t see him not being a contender. He should always be on a Kane, Orton, Big Show, Mysterio type of level where even when he’s not in a title match he’s still always a contender option. The Miz needs that. He was a good champion and all, but he just about completely fell off. I know they’re going to try to reestablish him and all that, but they shouldn’t have to. I think the best bet for this is to give him a full on feud with Triple H. If they REALLY want people to take The Miz seriously then they need to seriously push him and put him spots he can shine in. What would it hurt if Triple H put the guy over? It’s such a natural fit and decent idea that I can’t believe it’s not been a big feud already. I am not one to EVER want to see Triple H wrestle anymore, but this would really help The Miz out if done right and I’m sure the company would benefit. If done right, I could see this even being a solid title match.
