(FOUR) KOFI KINGSTON’S NATIONALITY
Jamaica? Africa? East Coast, USA? Where the hell is Kofi from? He showed up as a Jamaican and then out of nowhere he lost his shitty accent and was then deemed from Africa. It doesn’t make sense. Is it because he was never REALLY from Jamaica? Nooooo! It couldn’t be! Does it matter? It was just never really addressed outside of a few tongue-in cheek jokes.
(THREE) GTV
Remember GTV? It was a “hidden camera” in the locker room that showed grainy black and white footage of the WWE wrestlers doing things they shouldn’t. I remember it was supposed to possibly be “Goldust-TV”… or even “God-TV”. It was never really addressed. It just disappeared.
(TWO) THE ANONYMOUS GM
Remember when RAW was ran by a lap top with a generic ring tone? Those were the days. Michael Cole would read what the lap top said and the crowd would hate it. Edge would beat up the lap top a few times as well. For a while the wrestlers were selling reactions to the lap top better than the moves in the ring. Who was behind the emails? I remember tons of rumors and guesses, but we never got to know. Did anyone ever email him or her back? Are they okay? I’m concerned.
(ONE) VINCE’S EXPLODING LIMO
Before the tragic Benoit incident, the WWE was rolling out a big ass storyline. Vince was going crazy. At the end of one RAW he gets into a limo and BOOM! It explodes! The “Vince is Dead” stuff went around and then “he’s really hurt” and all of that. It was a big stunt and I’m sure would have taken the summer to iron out. I was always curious what route they’d go with it. Who did it? What wrestler’s would be involved? Was THAT when Triple H was going to be introduced into “the family” on TV? They hinted at it when the “Million Dollar Give Away” set fell on Vince, but not really as into it as it is now. Who knows? I’m almost convinced that it wasn’t real… almost.
