(FOUR) DIANE LANE
I guess I may have the terminology wrong. I was under the impression that a “cougar” was merely an attractive older woman. Some say it’s just that, but the woman must be a “youth-chaser”. Whatever. There are plenty of hot “older women” out there. This is my pick for four worth mentioning today. Diane Lane doesn’t even seem “older”, but she’s been on our screens for years. She’s a delightful personality and she’s very attractive. She has a certain appeal to her that crosses all age groups.
(THREE) DIANE KEATON
To me and most movie nerds, Diane Keaton is always going to be “Annie Hall”. With that alone she’ll always be desirable. She’s beautiful, has a great sense of humor, is a great actress, and has been part of some of the biggest and best movies of all time. Even in 2012, she’s as exuberant and entertainingly beautiful as she was in 1972. There needs to be a statue of her somewhere.
(TWO) JULIANNE MOORE
I’ve been a fan of Julianne Moore since I’ve know who she was. She doesn’t look “older” at all. If you’d ask me, I’d assume somewhere in her 30’s, but she just turned 51 last December. She’s still just as attractive as she’s ever been. She’s one of the best actresses out there, she’s funny, she’s great at drama, she does blockbusters, she does indies, critics love her, fans love her, and she’s one of the most consistently awesome people out there. Still, it’s hard to shake those bizarrely hot scenes in Big Lebowski, Boogie Nights, and Eagle Eye!
(ONE) HELEN MIRREN
This one is obvious. People have been pointing out that Mirren is hot now forever. In recent years it seems to one of things people say that’s just true. It’s said over and over again and no one gets bitchy about it. It’s just true. Have you seen those bikini pictures from just a few years ago? This woman has kept herself in great shape. She’s great looking and all, but there’s more to it than that. It’s the charm and grace. Helen Mirren defines class, has a solid sense humor, and continues to put out great work. All hail Dame Helen!
