(FOUR) SWORDFISH
People seem to sleep on this movie. This 2001 crime-thriller was better than it gets credit for. It’s John Travolta, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Don Cheadle, and Vinnie Jones. It has a great cast. The story is a little weird, but the movie is far from “bad”. Travolta has a really good run in this movie. It’s a good example of what he’s capable of in “lower brow” action flicks.

(THREE) LOOK WHO’S TALKING
No one EVER talks about this 1989 comedy anymore. For those who don’t recall, it was that movie where Bruce Willis plays the voice of a baby. Kirstie Alley is the mom and the dad ends up being a young John Travolta. I remember Travolta being fun and a pilot. I loved this movie and the sequel as a kid. Once they started making dogs talk it lost me… just babies… and John Travolta!

(TWO) FACE/OFF
John Travolta and Nicolas Cage being the craziest John Travolta and Nicolas Cage they can be. They play themselves as crazy as possible and then they play each other as crazy as possible. I’m surprised this movie isn’t dipped in gold and given out to geniuses because it’s genius. Watch it and see!

(ONE) PULP FICTION
This is the movie that made John Travolta famous again. He had a great run on TV as Barbarino and then with Greece and the other movies he did back in the day. Then he sorta just fell off. This would all chance with the 1994 crime movie. I always dug the idea that Quentin Tarantino kind of pulled him out of obscurity and put him in a cool movie. Travolta did awesome in this movie and reminded a lot of people how awesome and smooth he could be.
