(FOUR) JON HAMM AS VINTAGE SUPERMAN
DC should make “ACTION COMICS: THE MOVIE”. It could be three separate segments of old-timey superhero/comic book action. Despite being PERFECT for the character, some say Jon Hamm is too old to play Superman. Not the Action Comics version. Let the dude pick up a car and save the day already.
(THREE) DWAYNE JOHNSON AS MR. FREEZE
Anything Arnold does, I truly believe The Rock can do better. The Rock has so much more charisma than Arnold. The “Mr. Freeze” in the Batman movie from the 90’s was cartoonish crap. Nothing about the character was cool except the first initial reveal. After that it sucks. Dwayne Johnson is a big imposing guy and has the charm to make one liners sound cool. An evil Dwayne Johnson would be unstoppable.
(TWO) MILA KUNIS AS WONDER WOMAN
Maybe I’m just living out a weird fantasy with this one, but then again maybe I’m just living out a weird fanatasy with this one. Mila is one of the top female actresses out there right now. Shes in a lot of big movies and people seem to dig her. She has chops and could carry a franchise. Scarlett Jo. gets to hang out with Iron Man. You going to tell me that Mila Kunis can’t lasso a mother fucker?
(ONE) JASON STATHAM AS CABLE
Jason Statham is the best action star out there right now. He made movies like Crank and the remake of Death Race WAY better than they had any right to be. He’s got that old school “big meanie” thing going on. He looks like he’s an ex-football player, an ex-MMA guy, or an ex-con. The fact that he’s got leading man charm on top of his makes him pretty damn dangerous. He’s gotten to ride the lead in smaller action movies and has done well. I remember the rumors of him playing Dare Devil or Ghostrider or something… Jason Statham as “Cable” would be stellar!
