(FOUR) STRING
A simple string can go a long way. Tying things up is kind of fun, right? You can use a string as a lasso or with most other toys. It might not have that much range in terms of imagination, but it’s a solid practical “toy” that everyone has messed around with. Who hasn’t tied knots in a string over and over again? It’s a life experience we take for granted. STRING! YEA!
(THREE) RUBBER BAND
It’s like a string, but it’s sort of cooler. A rubber band can be used to snap people, launch things, and it makes noise if strung like an instrument string. That’s always fun. There is also the risk of injury, but it’s a risk we’ve all taken.
(TWO) ROCK
I’m talking REAL rocks, not the crack kind. I also wanted to give this the number one spot. A rock can be awesome, but it can also get you in a lot of trouble. The thing about rocks is that you’re limited to just throwing them or something in that ball part.
(ONE) STICK
You can’t beat a stick. With a little imagination it could be a sword, a gun, a dagger, a conductor’s stick, a cane, a bat, or anything one can come up with. I think the variety of use makes it easily one of the best “toys” of all time.
