Backwards red Yankees hats… gah-ross! Fred Durst was a horrible role model for horrible people. Baggy pants, Timberland boots, backwards red hat, baggy shirt, goatee, and douche-bag demeanor. I’m really happy this is past us. If you see someone that looks like this now you should immediately call for help.
(THREE) SEX IN THE CITY
Thank Jebus this show is gone. Thank Jebus the movies are wearing off. These were horrible characters. They were like rich and milfy female versions of the Entourage guys…. But like 100X’s worse! Sadly, I think the void horrible women fill with their Sex in the City slutness is now done with “housewife” reality shows and singing and dancing reality shows. Regardless, I’m happy this stuff has faded.
(TWO) FROSTED HAIR
This was mainly a boy band thing back in the day, but I think you’d even say it’s Eminem’s old style too. This was such a pansy ass look. Guys with short choppy or spikey hair with streaks of “frost” going through the tops of it. It looked really silly in retrospect, but it seems like ALL of the “cool kids” had their horrible 98 Degrees looking hair.
(ONE) DIAL UP INTERNET
I was stuck on an old Macintosh computer with no CD rom drive and dial up internet. This was my reality well into the early 2000’s. My internet connection sucked ass and was slow. If someone in the house picked up the phone it would disconnect. Hell man! If someone in the house THOUGHT about picking up the phone there was a chance it would disconnect. It sucked.
