Top 4 Unused Finishers in WWE

(FOUR) DDT
I’m not going to go with the obvious ones. People shouldn’t be doing Rock Bottoms, Stone Cold Stunners, and Leg Drops. Certain moves are just too assigned to one personality and would be hard to get over again. The Superkick and Figure Four are close to this level, but seem to have a little more lee-way in acceptance. One move that could have been on this level, but isn’t, is the old school DDT. I know there are variations, but the straight up snap driver DDT was awesome. Jake Roberts perfected it in the 80’s then in the 90’s guys like Raven carried it on. This move is just sitting in finishing move purgatory.

(THREE) DEATH VALLEY DRIVER
John Cena sets up for it, but then just drops the person down. There is no driver-like motion at all in the “Attitude Adjustment”. The DVD used to rock. Tommy Dreamer did it like a champ, but Godfather, and plenty of others did too. It’s an impressive power move that I don’t understand why is not around. It’s not a piledriver-bump or anything. I can’t recall anyone getting too hurt from it. This would be a cool move for a guy like The Ryback or Cesaro should use.

(TWO) FROG SPLASH
Eddie gets tons of props on this one, but it’s another universal move that could be re-established to someone to carry the torch. I used to love D-Lo Brown’s and RVDs for different awesome reasons. People dig high flying moves. Why not put this move in someone like an Otunga, JTG, or Zack Ryder or even someone from FCW’s arsenal and see how it gets over. Though, history has proven the move always gets over.

(ONE) THE DRAGON SLEEPER!
I loved this move! The Ultimo Dragon was the first person I saw do it back in the day. Eventually we’d see The Undertaker use it a few times for a while too. Then it just kind of went away. It’s a unique visual and looks like it’s killing the opponent with the wrenching pain. This move could work for anyone from a Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes to a Sandow to a Chris Jericho or Big Show. If it’s pushed right and sold right this could be one of those big “fearful moves”. When was the last time the WWE sold a new dangerous move as an entire company? I hope it wasn’t the Masterpiece Challenge…
