(FOUR) REAL HIP HOP WARS
Rappers used to kill each other over real stuff. Now there is “beef” over tweets, products, and lame shit. Hip hop died a while ago. It used to mean something and provided a window into a consciousness. Now it’s a window into ignorance, corporations, and sell outs. Today when a rapper wants to prove their “street cred” they wait until there is an award show and then get into a lame scuffle with someone that goes nowhere. Then websites and trash media will pick up on it and their “street cred” is increased. That’ll help those itunes sales, fa sho!

(THREE) BIG LOVE
I never thought the show was “great” or anything, but after five seasons of the Hendrickson family and Juniper Creek you want more. There were times that the show felt a little hokey and cheesy, but it was always interesting. You wanted to see how far Bill would go. You wanted to see the wives, the kids, the extended family, and the bizarre world that was the show’s portrayal of the Mormon and polygamist life style. While you watch it, you’re entertained and enthralled but once you stop it sticks with you. That’s a valid sign of a “great” show if I’ve ever heard of any.

(TWO) “…NOT!”
In the early and maybe even as far as the mid 90’s, people were a lot more open to sarcasm. In the recent years, snark-astic people will drop a shitty response of “Really?!” Back then, the common folk retort of coolness was simply saying the opposite of what you’re thinking, giving a slight pause for shocking suspense, and then the fun reversal of emotion with a playfully sarcastic “NOT!”. Basically, it would be “Those pants look awesome on you… NOT!”

(ONE) MEAN HUMOR
There is a difference between being a bully and being a playful asshole. Everyone over 25 knows this and should stop telling the young people they’re being “bullied”. If you’re friends with someone you can bust their chops, at least it used to be that way. If you want to meet a stranger and have some fun you might even bust their chops or someone else’s around. People’s feelings can sometimes get hurt in the process, but if the person being a jerk is genuinely going for a mutual laugh instead of a painful attack then there is no harm. The jerk can apologize and hopefully the victim can retort with a good zinger back. This has stopped. People must now look at any negative light or judgmental poke as “bullying”. By this standard, every character/friend in “That 70’s Show” was a bully. This overblown bullshit is making people weak little consumer sheep. Jebus forbid anyone is school or life REALLY gets bullied or really harmed by someone. It’s not the same thing. Why can’t we be a little meaner? Do we not have enough good reasons to lash out just a little?
