4 Random Dream Matches V.6

(FOUR) SABU VS. EDGE
This might have actually happened for the little while Sabu was in WWE’s ECW, but I don’t recall it. I’d like to see this match with some feeling and emotion behind it. Sabu was always the crazy suicidal, homicidal, and genocidal freak. He’s one of the best high flying hardcore guys of all time. The ring presence he had in the 90’s was untouchable. He’s still an imposing figure today on the indies, but I’d like to see a mid-90’s Sabu take on Edge from his prime. The hardcore battles Edge had in the past with Foley, Cena, and others were always great. I have no reason not to think Sabu and Edge going at it in a TLC match would not leave any crowd in their seats. They would have beaten the shit out of each other!

(THREE) RANDY ORTON VS. STING
Why not? Sting is often held in really high regards when talking about “best of all time”. But have you looked back at his matches? He’s great and has had great matches, but I think his stock is a bit overvalued. I think this is purely because of the fact he never went to WWE so there is this aura of magic attached to his name. On the contrary, I always felt Randy Orton doesn’t get his due. He’s not getting the big pushes like John Cena nor is his bloated ego forcing a made up legendary status down our throats like Triple H. He’s just there doing his job and kicking ass. People are quick to point to Cena and say he’s the “Hogan of this era”. If that’s true that Randy Orton is the Randy Savage. He’s a work horse and makes people look better. He and Sting wouldn’t have a masterpiece of a match, but the energy of the crowd with these two would be outstanding.

(TWO) AUSTIN ARIES VS. CHRIS CANDIDO
Austin Aries makes his bad ass moves look so smooth and effortless that it looks easy. He’s not a big guy, but his skills, charisma, and great matches make him a valuable asset to TNA and would to WWE or anywhere for that matter. One person he reminds me of a lot is Chris Candido. Candido was innovative for his time. He wasn’t huge, but he carried himself like a star. Like Aries, his overall talent and effortless workrate made him great. Sadly, Candido didn’t come up in a time like Aries to get a shot at carrying the ball on a national TV show. This match would surely prove why he should have been given a bigger shot and simply enough would just be a great time for everyone.

(ONE) RANDY SAVAGE VS. THE ROCK
This match would blow the roof off any arena. People talk about Hogan and Rock, but I truly think this match would have been bigger and a better match in general. It should have always been Hogan vs. Austin anyway. Macho Man had so much charisma and was more athletically skilled than Hogan ever was. I think the same can be said for Rock in terms of comparing him to Austin. Seeing these to go back and forth on the microphone would be a wrestling fan’s dream. Then put them in there and let them go at it. Top rope elbow vs. The People’s Elbow! Oh Yeah! Vs. If Ya Smell What the Rock Is Cookin! “The Great One”! vs. “The Macho King”! If you’re a fan of professional wrestling how could you not get excited over this dream match?
