(FOUR) REVENGE OF THE NERDS
This is still one of my favorite movies of all time. I love the first one, the second one, and even those made for TV weird sequels that came after. For this movie, I’d want to focus on Lewis and Gilbert being in High School. They were obviously nerds still and at the start of the movie they always talk about how “things are going to be different”. I’d love to see how their survived in high school and what their world was like. Sure we’d not have Poindexter or Booger or Wormser, but I’m sure there would be a great cast of characters to work with them.
(THREE) THE BIG LEBOWSKI
What as “The Dude” like before the whole mix up and Donny dying? I’d love to see some more antics from The Dude, Donny, and Walter. I’m sure they’d go bowling a lot, smoke, and get into a whole world of shit. Depending on how far back they go, I’d like to see Walter be married and go through his whole Jewish conversion. I’d like to see Donny with a love interest or crush. There is plenty they could have done.
(TWO) FORREST GUMP
This started off as a joke, but I like the idea of it. Why was Forrest so “special”? Did his mother smoke and drink? Was his father a tad “special” too? These are questions I’d like to know. I’d like to see the life of Gump’s father. They could cover the early 1900’s with ease and then at the end Papa Gump gets kicked in the junk by a mule and is said to never reproduce. Forrest Gump is still born and a miracle happens. Why not!
(ONE) MARY POPPINS
This would be fun. I’d want to see where Mary Poppins came from before landing at those people’s home. She didn’t just appear out of thin air. She flew there with an umbrella. Where did she get that umbrella? What was her job and life like before? I’d like to find out that she’s either an alien or some kind of bad ass James Bond spy. Why else would she have that gadget umbrella? We find out that she trained to spy and she went to that home to find out what’s REALLY going on. Dick Van Dyke was her partner. It’s all so obvious.
