(FOUR) HARLEM HEAT vs. HARDY BOYS
I’d love to see this one. Harlem Heat in the late 90’s were awesome. They were one of the best parts of WCW and made teams like Nasty Boys and American Males seem interesting. Their personalities were different enough to stand out, but their wrestling is what made them so awesome. Even today Booker T’s explosive style would be considered contemporary and entertaining. Like Harlem Heat, the Hardy Boys were ahead of their time. They were doing highflying things as a tag team that you rarely ever see. They got over huge and had some of the biggest moments in wrestling history thanks for the awe inspired TLC matches. Imagine a Harlem Heat/Hardy Boy TLC match. Sorry for blowing your mind.

(THREE) KEN SHAMROCK vs. BROCK LESNAR
It’s not that I’d love to see this match, but I’d love to see it planned out. The backstory of “UFC” vs. “WWE” would be odd. Shamrock was in UFC and went to the WWE and back to the UFC. Brock was WWE and went to the UFC and back to the WWE. There is a back and forth there that no one else can relate to besides these guys.

(TWO) DOLPH ZIGGLER vs. HAYABUSA
I’m not the most knowledgeable Japanese wrestling fan. I can appreciate a good match, but without understanding the context and the backstory it’s never something that I connect with. One guy I had a lot of exposure to was Hayabusa. He was in ECW for a while, but I also watched a handful of the FMW DVDs. This guy was AMAZING. His high spots were a thing of art. I’ve seen his moves copied by many, but the style and grace he had was like a sadistic figure skater. He was WAY before his time, but due to some bad injuries he never got to crossover into the mainstream of America. Dolph Ziggler is someone from today that I’d say is “amazing”. He’s quite possibly the most athletic wrestler I’ve ever seen and his storytelling has gotten up there with the best. He and Hayabusa would probably break some laws of physics.

(ONE) NEW JACK vs. THE UNDERTAKER
The Undertaker is a big dead guy who eventually either gets murdered or no sells the world ending to get the big win. He is one of the best performers in professional wrestling history. He is the workhorse of wrestling that any real “worker” should aspire to be. In the recent years he hasn’t developed much new stuff, but before then he was constantly evolving. He was doing triangle chokes and adopting some of the MMA style WAY before anyone on TV. The point is that he’d do ANYTHING and still maintain his character’s mystique. You know who wouldn’t give a shit? New Jack. New Jack’s character wouldn’t buy into the “dead man” character. He’d go in there and “literally” try to kill the Undertaker. Does the Undertaker survive a fork the face, a staple gun, a BLADE, or flaming guitars? Maybe, but I would have loved to have found out.
