Top 4 Isla Fisher Movies

(FOUR) WEDDING CRASHERS
Isla Fisher is great in this one too. She seems like a normal hot chick at start, but you soon learn that she’s CRAZY. She’s pushy, overbearing, and psychotic. The problem is that I don’t get why Vince Vaughn’s character didn’t just embrace it. Crazy or not, she’s still Isla Fisher. That’s my only gripe. It’s not like the dude was turning ladies down left and right and it was obvious he fancied himself as a well-traveled ladies man. You telling me he can’t handle a freaky Isla Fisher until the awe-shucks ending? Lame!

(THREE) DEFINITELY, MAYBE
This is actually a good movie. It’s one of those romantic comedies that snuck out under the radar. I remember it being appreciated by a lot of people, but you don’t hear much about it anymore. The cast was pretty damn solid. Ryan Reynolds tells his daughter, Abigail Breslin, about some of the women he was into before she was born. There are a variety of women with different personality traits played by awesome actresses, but the main love is Isla Fisher.

(TWO) HOT ROD
Isla was awesome in this movie. Andy Samberg’s character is a big kid who is taking on the big task of a huge stunt. She’s stuck in a bad relationship with the awesome Will Arnett and slowly and surely realizes that having fun with a good person is better than being annoyed with a bad person. Nothing too revolutionary, but it wasn’t meant to be. She’s just really likeable and awesome. You can totally understand why Arnett’s character repeats and shouts “Babe!” over and over again as she leaves him. Good stuff.

(ONE) WEDDING DAZE
I don’t get it. This movie should have gotten WAY more love. Jason Biggs proposes to his girlfriend and she rejects him. After a long bout of having a broken heart his friend convinces him to give love another shot. He ends up jokingly asking an attractive waitress to marry him. The waitress is played by Isla Fisher and to much surprise she says YES. From there it gets interesting and funny. It’s a good heart felt movie. As silly of a plot it is, the heart behind it is honest and I think that’s what makes the movie so easy to like. If you appreciate Isla Fisher’s work and want to see a good light hearted romantic comedy that isn’t too girly then this is for you. Michael Ian Black kicked ass with this movie. I recommend it to you and I recommend to myself to watch it again. I liked it that much.
