(FOUR) THE LEAD IN BACHELOR PARTY
This is basically a chance for Vince Vaughn to be in another Old School type of movie, without having to make a sequel. I know it would be a remake or an un-attached sequel, but it would work. These are the type of raunchy comedies that Vince Vaughn is made for.
(THREE) THE MONSTER IN YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN
Vince Vaughn is nothing like Peter Boyle. Boyle rocked for his own reasons and Vaughn has his own thing too. Vince is also a monster of a guy. He’s tall and he could totally play Frankenstein. A Mel Brooks musical comedy would be a weird place to see Vince Vaughn, but I like the idea of the challenge. He would most definitely rock it.
(TWO) ALAN ALDA’S ROLE IN CRIMES AND MISDEMEANORS
This is specific as hell, but it got in my head and it didn’t leave. Alda is awesome. Duh. In this movie he plays a stuffy, blow hard rich guy who says nothing but pretentious nonsense the entire time. You laugh at him, but you still want to see Woody Allen’s character get over on him. I’d like to see Vince Vaughn go all out in a movie like this. Basically because I can totally see him doing a “if it bends, it’s funny” type of rant.
(ONE) LEAD IN STRIPES
Sarcastic lead? Fun sarcastic friend? Rag-tag group of misfits? Challenging authority? That’s Vaughn’s bag for sure. Stripes is one of the best comedies of all time. The cast, story, and acting rocked. Bill Murray is amazing in that movie. To me, it’s a lot like his Swingers. He’s got his buddy next to him for the whole movie and it showcases the best of Bill Murray’s natural charisma. Isn’t that the same thing that went down for Vince Vaughn in Swingers? Exactly. Let’s see this happen! It’s gotta be cooler than two guys getting jobs at Google.
