4 Things I Don’t Miss V.9

(FOUR) HE WAS ON THE COSBY SHOW
Yep. Sandler played Theo Huxtable’s friend named “Smitty”. He was only on for a few episodes, but it’s hard to forget the ones he was one. The one specific one is when he, Theo, and another friend were trying to impress their dates for a big dance. They got a helicopter, a limo, and caviar. He was hilarious as Theo’s only white friend, but oddly enough he wasn’t recurring. Still, how do you hate anyone who was on The Cosby Show?!

(THREE) THE SNL YEARS
You’d think that Adam Sandler was the main star of the show, but he wasn’t. He was there during the second greatest eras of the show’s run. In fact, his cast may have even been better than the original. He didn’t get TONS of time, but he capitalized greatly on what he did on the show. His songs were popular, Opera Man was hilarious, and he was part of some of the biggest sketches of the 90’s like “Canteen Boy” and the “Gap Girls” with Spade and Farley. That’s just the ones off the top of my very crowded brain. Is it possible to hate the dude who wrote “The Chanukah Song”?

(TWO) A TRUE BRO
Adam Sandler takes care of his friends. If you watch any of his movies you’ll notice a rotating cast of the same people including Allen Covert, Peter Dante, and Jonathan Loughran. These funny dudes are his longtime friends. Then he’s always working his former SNL friends, and then Steve Buschemi, Kevin James, John Turturro, and Nick Swardson constantly pop up. It’s not just HIS movies. Sandler produces A LOT of movies and shows that feature all of his bros. How can you hate that kind of loyalty?

(ONE) DOWN TO EARTH GUY
When Adam Sandler shows up somewhere it’s always like he just got kidnapped from taking out the trash. He’s typically wearing a hat, a t-shirt or old polo, and shorts or jeans. Basically without having to describe the dude’s wardrobe, he keeps it casual. You never hear any stories about him being rude to anyone. You never hear anything about him getting involved with scandals or causing problems. He just does his thing and puts positivity out there. We don’t have to like all of his movies, but he’s at least trying to make people smile. How can you hate that?
