(FOUR) DANIEL BRYAN vs. VADER
The visual in my head is awesome. After a long battle of Vader beating the shit out of Daniel Bryan and Daniel Bryan do whatever he could to survive he’d EVENTUALLY get the upper hand. In a heat of exhaustion Vader would be on his knees and then Daniel Bryan would proceed to kick the shit out of him for a while. It would just be awesome. Vader always worked good with talented smaller guys plus he worked “Japanese stiff” and could make a beating look convincing. That’s right up D-Bry’s alley. This match just sounds like a war. Who wouldn’t have wanted to see this?

(THREE) ROAD WARRIORS vs. A.P.A.
This match may have happened at one point, but not the way I’d like to see it. I’d love to see the actual Road Warriors. The hybrid biker looking dudes who weren’t cartoony zany. They were awesome like that too, but when they put on the leather they were legit intimidating. A.P.A. is that generation’s version of the “bad ass big tag team”. They were a little cartoony as well, but they drank beer, played poker, and had some good moments. The brawl between these two would be fun, but Road Warriors would have destroyed them. It’d have been fun while it lasted though.

(TWO) THE ROCK vs. THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR
This would not be a mat wrestling classic. In fact, it would probably not even be that great of a match. But would it be a great spectacle? Hell yes. Imagine Warrior spouting off his crazy philosophical babble and then The Rock responding in the way only The Rock could. It would be a great time. The energy of both performers is up there at the top of wrestling history. The problem is that The Warrior became the black sheep of the WWE, while The Rock has become the “local boy done good” for the company as much as they can milk it. The dynamic of this kind of energy backstage would only add to the fuel of what could happen in the ring. If the crowd gets into it, the action doesn’t need to be a mat wrestling classic.

(ONE) KURT ANGLE vs. CURT HENNIG
I realized recently that Kurt Angle, as amazing of a performer and wrestler he is and has been, he could not touch the work of Curt Hennig. Seriously watch back to the old Mr. Perfect matches and you’ll notice that A LOT of the things that Kurt Angle is praised for and known for was just casualness for Hennig. The guy was fluid in there and would really show Angle up. The difference is that Angle came in when smaller guys and the old “Intercontential Title” style became the main event style. If Perfect had been post Hart/Michaels he would have been a multiple time champion and go down as one of the top tier all-time greats. I truly believe that. Kurt Angle would have to elevate himself even more and I have no reason to not think he wouldn’t. That in itself would just cause a snowball effect of people being as close to “perfect” as possible.
