(FOUR) NEW YEARS EVE
It’s the last day of the month, but it’s one of the most celebrated and beloved holidays of the year. It gives you a chance to reflect on the past year, look forward to the next one, and to party your ass off.
(THREE) CHRISTMAS
Well, duh. It’s Christmas time… or whatever Holiday or custom you have. Regardless if you’re lighting candles, hanging stockings, or doing whatever Kwanza involves… it’s the season that counts. We exchange gifts, we gather, and it’s a good time all around. It can be a really depressing time too, but if you keep the spirit at a high or block out the bad then you’re good to go.
(TWO) OSCAR BAIT SEASON
The end of December is when a lot of movie studios crank out their big artsy Oscar-bait movies. Christmas movie releases have become a huge thing. It’s almost as big as the summer blockbusters now. We get all the movies that the studios want to push for award season so they throw them out there just to beat the deadlines. If you want to keep up on the Oscar movies, this is when you really need to start paying attention. Expect Streep, Daniel Day Lewis, Clooney, Tarintino, and the usual Oscar casts and characters to drop their big movies around that time if they got ‘em. Basically, it’s a “roll’em if you got’em” type of thing for big time films.
(ONE) NEXT YEAR PLANS
The month of December is a chaotic one. We all are in the Holiday hustle and trying to cram in as much as we can before the Holidays and vacation time hits. This is when we start having to write the next year down on files, checks, and calendars. It’s the chance to look forward and make plans for what’s to come. There is always room for improvement and that begins with a good plan. This is the best chance.
