"Top 4 Jonah Hill Movies"

(FOUR) STRANGE WILDERNESS
This movie is not that great, but it’s not without its merits. Steve Zahn is the man. This is a Happy Madison Production so it’s basically an Adam Sandler buddy fest. Jonah Hill is one of the brighter sides of the movie. He plays a crazy dude named “Lynn Cooker”. Apparently his role wasn’t even planned. He actually wrote the character himself, which is kind of weird. It works though.

(THREE) GRANDMA’S BOY
Pretty much the same crew here as Strange Wilderness. It’s another Happy Madison Production and another fun role for Hill. I don’t remember a lot about it, rather than just being amused by the dude. Then there’s that whole make out scene. It was like he won a raffle or something, a raffle in which he had to pay for his ticket with his life. He was THAT into it. Don’t blame him.

(TWO) GET HIM TO THE GREEK
It did fairly well. It debuted at #2 behind Shrek 9. It has already made more than doubt its budget so if you ask me, MAKE MORE! Why not? Who is going to hurt? Both Hill and his co star Russell Brand are at their best in this movie. It’s a pretty dark comedy that’s a lot of fun to go through. He’s the type of personality that could have been either extreme, but proves strong as the straight man. Hill wasn’t the typical straight man. He did his own thing with it and was a very sarcastic and entertaining one. To me, this was his best acted movie. He’s not like Daniel Day Lewis or anything, but his range is shown at a pretty damn good view here. This movie is going to find a huge following on DVD and is going to stick around.

(ONE) SUPERBAD
If only because of its timeless awesomeness, Superbad is the obvious choice. The movie is not even four years old yet and many would consider it to be a modern comedy classic. The duo of Jonah Hill and Michael Cera here is great and works very well together. Hill had so many great one-liners in this movie its crazy. This was Hill’s first big role and he knocked it out of the park. Without this movie, I doubt this list would have been made in the first place.
