Would YOU like your voice heard?
DigitalLizardProductions.com is now looking for more columns, blogs, and content. We are looking to build a multimedia outlet for all voices, not just the same ones over and over.
Do you want to review a television show, movie, album, book, or new brand of Doritos? Then by all means, if you put in the effort and stay on a consistent schedule then you’re welcomed. We’re aiming to stay “entertainment based”, but that’s a pretty general label to put on anything. So if you want to rant, rave, or BS about sports, politics, food, gardening, or anything informative then that’s fine. As long as it’s entertaining or informative on some level then there’s really no reason not to share it with the world.
What we’re looking for is basically consistency, effort, and that’s about it. Consistency and effort basically means you submit your blog/column/review/piece on a regular schedule. We can go twice a week, weekly, bi-weekly, or even monthly for those who want to participate but are low on time. Ideally, we’d like weekly. The objective of the website is to share thoughts and art. To build up a consistent readership, we’d need consistent content. As for effort, that’s exactly what it sounds like. If you put in the effort, a few hundred words, of a coherent thought then you’re welcomed. Not asking for a term paper or a novel here. At least 400 words would be nice, but even that isn’t too much to ask. This paragraph itself is over 200 words.
If you’re a creative person and have other projects this is a good chance to get in a few cheap plugs every so often. If you’re a business owner or need to sell something, this again provides an outlet to reach more people. We all have something we love talking about just as well as having something to sell, spread, and show off.
