It’s easy to acknowledge that Rome wasn’t built in a day. Hell, it wasn’t even built in eight months. Yet, eight months ago Digital Lizard Productions’s empire found somewhat of a foundation. On July 1st 2010, DigitalLizardProductions.com was unleashed to the world. Before that it was like many other production company websites. It had trailers, information on projects, and really just pushed a product. With this July 1st 2010 relaunch the website became a multimedia haven for anything and everything on the minds of the Digital Lizard members who’ve contributed.
Here’s what has gone down at DigitalLizardProductions.com:
* We put up the two movies we’ve made, “The Moving Men” and “All The Love In The World”.
* One full six episode season of 80’s talk show “Nocturnal Emissions with Steven Thomas Darrell” has gone up and has had some great feedback.
* A feature length web exclusive rockumentary on Chicago’s own Fashion Bomb titled “Behind The Lifted Veil” has gone up.
* I’ve tapped the archives and have been presenting old matches from Maniak Enterprise Wrestling(2001-2004) for the first time anywhere.
* Blogs up the wazoo. You can find new content on this website DAILY via the “Daily Fournication”, “Estrogen Nut”, “Evans From the Heavens”, movie reviews, music reviews, rants, raves, and pretty much anything and everything on our minds.
*AND MORE!

It’s a pleasure to announce that since last July, DigitalLizardProductions.com has evolved and grown into something special. This media and artistic outlet has tallied over ONE MILLION page views. Yes, major websites can clear that in a week or less but we’re still proud of the feat. This is only the beginning. Two million… here we come!
We’re still a production company who focuses on new content. Close to ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND total video views have been tallied since the relaunch. That content comes from film projects, web series, and special presentations. We post the videos, you watch them, and we get to feel like we’re not completely wasting our time.
Your viewership is GREATLY appreciated. That with the artistic gratification is what we’re working for at the moment. No one in Digital Lizard Productions is making any money off of what we’re doing. Anything that comes in goes right back into production. That said, with the help of the website’s hard earned success we’ve been able to upgrade a few areas of our production. You will see the upgrades for yourself as more projects are released!
What are those projects you ask?
* The LOOOONG awaited release of Digital Lizard Production’s third feature length movie, “UPPING THE ANTE”. We’re very close to finishing. The results and methods have become unorthodox, but come hell or high water this movie will be released SOONER THAN LATER.
* “BLUE MIDNIGHT OF A BETTER TOMORROW”, a drama. This movie has been JUST ABOUT been fully casted. We have a few open roles for both sexes and could use anyone that is interested in this kind of stuff. This will be the first Digital Lizard Productions movie shot with the NEW CAMERA.
* ”NOCTURNAL EMISSIONS WITH STEVEN THOMAS DARRELL” SEASON TWO… AND THREE! That’s right, everyone’s favorite 1980’s talk show RETURNS! We’ve begun production on BOTH seasons and if all goes well we’d be looking at a Late Spring Season Two and a Mid-Late Summer Season Three! BOTH IN 2011!
* AND MORE! There are tentative plans for AT LEAST one more web series. In reality there is potential for like 3 or 4 in total. It all depends on time, scheduling, and how development goes. Ambitions and creativity is flowing. Along with “UPPING THE ANTE” and “BLUE MIDNIGHT OF A BETTER TOMORROW” we are in light preproduction for TWO MORE movies. Both are comedies and one involves STEVEN THOMAS DARRELL.
We’re always head of ourselves, but we’re going to strive extra hard to catch up and to continue to share more content on DigitalLizardProductions.com and hopefully through DVD, theatre, and television in to the not too distant future.
