What the hell is this crap? This is Nick Swardson’s first big leading role and it looks like it’s going to suck VERY badly. This movie is about a doofus who finds out his parents were in porn so he decided to go to LA to be a star himself. The character is shit. It’s something so bad that even on their worst days Rob Schneider and David Spade would run from screaming. If you’ve followed those two’s career then that obviously says a lot. It’s like a Midwestern Joe Dirt without the charm or heart. The shitty part is that I can almost guarantee that there are going to be shmucks out there who think this is great and that’ll try to sell the rest of us on it. It’s taken me a really long time to accept Nick Swardson and to find humor in his work. This movie looks so bad that it sets back white people like twenty years. Maybe I’m being harsh, but damn… if you watch this trailer and tell me it doesn’t look completely stupid then you’re rocking the Helen Keller of senses. It says Adam Sandler, Allen Covert, and Nick Swardson wrote this. What the hell, man?! What the hell! I’m sure in theory the idea could be funny, but the character sucks and I really have no desire to see this. If we ALL avoid this movie then maybe they’ll learn a lesson.
