It’s a Woody Allen movie. At this point if you like Woody Allen movies you LOVE Woody Allen movies. I’m pretty sure if you like one of his movies you’ve seen more than one and find value in all of his work. He’s just one of those Scorsese or Tarintino type of artistic filmmaker that transcends the idea of “casual fans”. He crafts a certain kind of movie. It’s not for everyone. This movie is listed to be about “the story of the final stages of an acute crisis and a life of a fashionable New York housewife.” That could mean anything and everything. The cast is made up of Alec Baldwin, Cate Blanchett, Bobby Carnivale, Louis C.K. Andrew Dice Clay, Sally Hawkins, Peter Sarsgaard, and a few others. So I can’t imagine it not at least being interesting, but Woody’s last few movies have been some of his recent best so I’m pretty stoked for this one. I mean Louis C.K. in a Woody Allen movie? Deal!
