If you adjust a little, it works and you can still hear some commentary, the crowd, and the bump sounds. This is a horror of dealing with old VHS tapes. I suppose it’s good that I’m transferring these over to some form of digital copy before these tapes turn to ash or something. Sorry about that, but it’s still definitely worth checking out. *)
This one is a sleeper pick for one of the most underappreciated matches in MEW’s history. It’s not perfect, the camera angle is rough, and the crowd isn’t that into it… but the match itself is pretty awesome. PT and Trent worked together fairly often on the road throughout the Midwest. This was the only time they wrestled each other in MEW. Their chemistry is easy to see and they pull off a damn good match. If judging on a five star rating, this would at least have three and a half. I always wished PT would have been around more. He worked well with the MEW originals and was a fun locker room leader to have around. Some of his ideas are questionable, but his talents exceed anything else that comes with the package. With proper build, this could have been a Main Event feud in MEW before too long.
